Police 4 people were assaulted in 4 separate incidents throughout Nassau County

Police report that four people were assaulted in separate incidents early Wednesday morning. Josue Fuentes Velasquez was arguing with a 25-year-old man on East Street in Elmont when he allegedly hit him in the back of the head with the bottle, according to police. Velasquez is accused of punching another man in the face while attempting to stop the fight.

Police said a fight on Clinton Avenue in Inwood resulted in North Lawrence man hitting and choking another man. They say Alan Garcia attacked a 26-year-old and removed his chain. Garcia has been charged with robbery and criminal obstruction of breathing.

In Roosevelt, an argument led to Ramon Blandon allegedly cutting another man’s face with a box cutter, officers said. Blandon pleaded not guilty to assault and weapons charges.

On Suggs Lane in Hicksville, a 31-year-old woman is accused of striking another woman in the face. According to police, Stephanie Caballos and the 52-year-old victim were arguing before the altercation became physical. Both were transported to the hospital.

According to police, Caballos became violent again and struck an officer in the face, causing swelling and bruising. All four victims are expected to be okay.”
