Prairie Farm, Wisconsin – A 44-year-old Downing woman died in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Sunday morning west of Prairie Farm.
The Barron County Sheriff’s Office said deputies received a call about the crash on 2 3/4 Avenue shortly after 7:30 a.m. Several first responders, including a medical helicopter, were sent to the scene.
According to preliminary findings, the vehicle was driving west on 2 3/4 Avenue when it ran off the road and overturned.
The driver was taken to a hospital in Minnesota, where she succumbed to her injuries.
The Barron County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the crash. There were no further details revealed.
