48 hours to request SNAP replacement Do not miss out on this Food Stamps money

In Florida, there is still a way to replace the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Because of Hurricane Milton, a lot of people who get Food Stamps may have lost the food they bought with their benefits.

Many people who get SNAP have a waiver from the USDA, so they don’t need to apply for replacement. But people in Florida who get SNAP must apply for relief before the deadline.

What to do to get SNAP replacement in Florida?

First, make sure that you are still getting SNAP. If you are no longer getting Food Stamps, you might not be able to apply. Fill out the form by October 19, 2024, if you are still qualified.

Don’t forget that your home needs to show proof that the power went out for at least 4 hours. The lack of power must have made food go bad. It stands to reason that this damage will cause food loss to your MYACCESS Account.
