Jasper County, Missouri — A shooting in Jasper County has left at least one person wounded and three individuals in custody.
Around 5:15 a.m., police and EMS responded to a report of a shooting at the Walmart Neighborhood Marketplace on Dermott Drive in Airport Drive. Officials don’t believe the shooting occurred at that place.
Two people were sent to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
Officers from several agencies then descended on a Webb City neighborhood at the crossroads of Austin and Ash. That’s where they surrounded a house and forced everyone inside to come out with their hands raised.
Three persons left the house and are being held.
Local News Tiffany Alaniz, today’s anchor, was on the scene and overheard one of the suspects, a woman, telling police her version of events.
