Two ladies have been accused of viciously striking three kids with a sharpened dog leash and a stick for failing to do their duties properly.
On October 24, the Texarkana Texas Police Department charged Haley Blevins, 19, with three counts of felony child injury, and Jacalyn Cook, 30, with two.
According to an arrest affidavit seen by Law & Crime, the women became enraged at the three boys, ages 12, 7, and 4, after they failed to complete duties to their’standard’ and began beating them repeatedly with hard objects.
According to the complaint, the 12-year-old informed his mother that the beating took place after the women ordered the boys to pull a mattress outside, wash the dishes, and move a couch inside the house.
According to police, the children’s mother, 30, phoned them on October 15 to denounce the ladies for abusing her three sons while they were in their trusted care while the mother was at work.
According to the police statement, the three boys had plainly distressing injuries, including “bruises and whelps on their buttocks and all down their legs”.
According to the affidavit seen by Law & Crime, Blevins entered a room where the oldest child was lying down and began lashing him with a “thick belt”. The eldest claimed that the women struck him more than 20 times with the spiked belt and stick.
According to the Law & Crime report, the mother of the three boys moved in with Cook after the family became homeless and desperate.
Cook also offered Blevins to move in after the family was situated, according to the publication. However, the mother reportedly expressed concerns about Blevins because the 19-year-old has a history of mental health challenges, the article added.
