SSDI benefits will be issued on November 13, 2024. To get money on this paycheck, the Social Security Administration will ensure that you meet the birthday requirements. Keep in mind that only qualified individuals with birthdays ranging from the 1st to the 10th will receive this money. Furthermore, if you fall into either of these two categories, you will be ineligible.
First, if you applied for Disability Insurance and received disability benefits prior to May 1997, you will not be eligible for SSDI on November 13. Another reason you are ineligible is that you get Supplemental Security Income benefits.
SSDI payments after November 13
Except for the SSDI payment on November 13, some beneficiaries will not receive their disability benefit payments until November 20 or November 27. The birthdate criterion will be required to qualify for one or both.
SSDI recipients with birth dates ranging from 11 to 20 will get their payments on November 20. If your birthday falls after that date, your payment will be issued on November 27.
After November 27, an SSI check or direct deposit will be issued on November 29, 2024. This will be the SSI payment for December 1, which has been rescheduled for that day. SSI is also available to qualified disability recipients.

This is merely an average payment to give Americans an idea of what a disability payment could look like. In 2024, some high-income individuals may be eligible for up to $3,822 in Social Security Disability Insurance benefits.
However, it is more than likely that most payments are closer to the average of $1,542. The amount of money you receive from SSDI depends on:
- The number of years you have worked
- The wages you earned as a worker
- The age you filed for Disability Insurance
- The time and amount of taxes you spent on jobs covered by Social Security
